You can use your library card to find new book titles, search databases (including
newspapers, magazines, homework helpers, etc), reserve materials, check your library account, and much more!  You can also use this card at other libraries throughout the Greater Cleveland area.  Applicants under 16 must get a signature from a parent or legal guardian.

How to get a library card?

• Come to East Cleveland Main Library or any of our branch locations. 

• Go to the circulation desk and ask for a library application. 

• Have a  valid identification showing your current address with you.

• You will receive a library card that same day.

Reserves (Holds)

Reserves may be placed on any item.  Patron will be notified by mail when their reserves become  available.  Request may be placed in person, by phone, or through the web catalog.  If an item is not part of our collection we will try to obtain it for you.
