Services

The Youth Services Department has a commitment to serve children, their families, educators and caregivers in accordance with the mission of the East Cleveland Public Library.  Our department contributes to the growth and development of children in the following manners by providing:

• activities and programs to educate them, enrich their lives, and encourage the use of the library
• a network of services in the community
• an attractive and inviting facility for children and their families
• A collection in a wide variety of print and non-print formats that is current and representative of different point of views
• A welcoming environment and experience during their visit
• Teaching children how to use the library and its resources
• Treating children with patience and respect
